Barrierefreiheit: Kurzüberblick

Barrierefreiheit (englisch “Accessibility”) bedeutet, dass Gegenstände, Medien und Einrichtungen so gestaltet werden, dass sie von jedem Menschen unabhängig von einer eventuell vorhandenen Behinderung uneingeschränkt benutzt werden können.

Der folgende Beitrag soll für das Thema Barrierefreiheit sensibilisieren und fokussiert auf digitale Medien und eLearning-Medien im Speziellen. Er gliedert sich in folgende Bereiche:

Ja ja, wie befürchtet sorgt Twitter dafür, dass hier extreme tote Hose ist. Alle kurzen Gedankenblitze und Webtipps sind dorthin ausgelagert worden. Die akuelle zeitraubende Arbeitsphase trägt ihren Rest dazu. Aber vergesst niemals:

Adobe Captivate 4 eLearning-Session for free [Achtung begrenzte Teilnehmerzahl]

Wieder einmal möchte ich auf einen kostenfreien Webcast aufmerksam machen:

For the audio portion of the meeting, you will need to turn on your computer speakers and adjust the volume appropriately. I will conduct a series of audio tests as participants begin to join. Reduzierte Blogfrequenz durch Microblogging

Reduziert twittern die Blogfrequenz? Bei mir auf jeden Fall und das ist auch gut so! Warum das gut ist? Ganz einfach: Durch das Microblogging filtere ich das Rotzblogging aus. Mittels Twitter äußere ich einfache Gedanken oder mache auf verschiedene Webfundstücke aufmerksam. Durch die Zeichenbeschränkung bei Twitter landet nur das, was mehr als 140 Zeichen hat im Webbericht.

Darüber hinaus bietet Twitter ein starkes Netzwerk, das sogar Netzwerkmuffel wie mich überzeugt. So kann das Wirken von Fachexperten beobachtet und Kontakte schnell und unkompliziert geknüpft werden. Ich glaube das volle Potential hab ich garantiert nicht ausgeschöpft .. es bleibt also spannend.

Ein bisschen Dankbarkeit als Schlüssel zum positiven Denken

Es mag abgedroschen klingen, aber ein wenig Dankbarkeit für die einfachen und positiven Dinge im Leben, verbessern ungemein die allgemeine Stimmung und schaffen eine positive Grundstimmung.

Empirische Belege dazu listet der PsyBlog auf im Beitrag “Better Mood from Gratitude: 2 Minute Exercise – Start Now!“.

Selber hab ich diese Erfahrung vor zwei Jahren gemacht. Ich habe mir anstatt sorgenvolle Gedanken zum nächsten Tag, im Bett darüber Gedanken gemacht, was speziell an diesem Tag gut lief und womit ich zufrieden bin. Das Resultat ist, dass ich allgemein deutlich positiver gestimmt bin und an Dinge auch mit einer positiven Grundhaltung herangehe. Natürlich immer nur im Vergleich zu vorher. Im Herzen bleibe ich der alte Stinkstiefel
